6x19 IWRC Class Bright
PowerStrand 6x19 Class Bright Wire Ropes are ungalvanized and supplied with an A1 lube. The A1 lube is a light grease applied during the stranding and closing process to encapsulate the individual wires to reduce wear and slightly inhibit the onset of corrosion. Bright ropes should be periodically inspected & re-lubed to ensure wire to wire friction is reduced to extend service life.
Steel cores wire ropes are used to add strength to the rope, provide resistance to drum crushing and where low stretch is required.
