Elevator Cable
Powerstrand Elevator cable is made in South Korea to a traction grade 1550 N/mm2 standard for the North American market. All Powerstrand elevator cable has been pre-stretched at the factory to reduce the need for adjusting and shortening due to initial constructional stretch.
It is available in:
- Imperial sizes: 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8 inch
- Metric sizes: 10, 13mm
- 8x(S)19 sisal core construction right hand regular lay
- 1550N/mm2 grade steel
Due to the wide variety of elevator hoists that are available, consult manufacturer to ensure elevator cable and sockets are acceptable for use. Never use to replace wire core, or high performance elevator ropes. Installation must be done by qualified individuals.
